Happy Pioneer Day!

Mark and I recently went on Trek as a Ma and Pa where we had 8 amazing kids with us for or trek family. We also had our own 5 kids assigned to incredible trek families. The experience was absolutely unforgettable because of the beauty that we traveled through daily and the constant reminder that God is everywhere and always with us.

I was reminded of the time it was confirmed in my heart that I was with my ancestors as an angel on the other side helping them get where they needed to be.

Many times I have witnessed and felt the tender mercy of angels also assisting me from my past and those yet to come. We are all cheering eachother on.

It has been my early understanding in my ancestors examples and in my own life of who I am, my worth and my relationship with my Savior that has also helped me through the tougher phases of life.

I love as I celebrate my ancestors today that I can see my own pioneer journey as a mom with my family and how much I love where we are. Each person has been through so much. Their courage, strength, testimony, resiliency and optimism for life are examples to me. I am forever blessed to have Mark by my side as we navigate this journey of life with our children. We have absolutely felt our moms often.
