“Seven Miracles That Saved America”

My Book Club recommendation for June is “Seven Miracles That Saved America: Why They Matter and Why We Should Have Hope” by Chris Stewart and Ted Stewart.
This book was published back in 2009 but the concepts still remind me how blessed I feel to live in America: ![]()
The book explores United States history through a religious lens, arguing that divine intervention repeatedly preserved the nation during crucial historical moments. The authors present seven specific events where they believe the odds were overwhelmingly stacked against America, yet the country miraculously survived and prospered.
The Seven Miracles are:
1. Christopher Columbus and his voyage to the New World.
2. The Miracle at Jamestown during the starving time and early colonization.
3. The Battle of Long Island during the Revolutionary War, featuring George Washington’s critical escape.
4. The Constitutional Convention and the drafting of the U.S. Constitution.
5. Lincoln and Gettysburg.
6. The Battle of Midway during World War II.
7. The Survival of Ronald Reagan.
What do you do to feel patriotic during this time of year?
